Sensory-Friendly Sunday at the Nature Center (All ages)
September 12, 2021 –
he center opens early for these events designed for families with kids, teens, and adults with sensory processing differences, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities. Enjoy activities led by Howard County Park Rangers, Heritage staff and Robinson Nature Center educators. Families can also explore the exhibits (lights/sounds adjusted), Discovery Room, nature trails, outdoor NaturePlace and a themed-sensory pathway. Planetarium open between 11am and noon. Sensory alert maps, sensory backpacks and quiet areas available.
Join Brown on the Spectrum as we host our 'Teen Social' meetup for youth ages 12-19!
We will meet on the third Friday of every month.
