November 18 - Self-care for the caregiver and the family member with autism
Discuss compassion fatigue and how to employ the five love languages.
December 16 - Help your child or family member with autism thrive!
Explore strategies to improve communication, maintain schedules and consistency, engage and build on interests, and reinforce positive behaviors.
All sessions are facilitated by Stacy Hurley, Licensed Certified Social Worker form the Howard County Autism Society. Families with children of all ages with autism are welcome!

Panelists will share information on voting at the state and federal levels, and will discuss issues affecting those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as the Institute’s perspective on relevant topics.
