With degrees in Psychology and Special Education, Heather has worked in the field of Education for her 20-year career. Specializing in Autism, she has been an SEIA, a teacher, the manager of a company providing home and community based services, and an independent Education Consultant. She specialized in Autism before becoming the Education Program Coordinator at Frederick Community College. She has advocated for children and families in many settings and is interested in sharing her passion and skills with parents.
