It will highlight the work at the Program for Employment Preparedness (PEP), a public post-secondary program in Arlington County, Virginia serving students with disabilities, and student participants will present their perspectives.

Parent Empowerment Conference Fall Mini Series Tired of Repeating Yourself?October 14, 2021 –
Guest Speaker: Brandi Walker, PhD, (MAJ, Army), has an earnest desire to further what is known about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and provide therapeutic expertise and researched-informed support to families. She is a graduate of the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology PhD program at Howard University. An Army clinical psychologist at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, NC, Dr. Walker is an active duty major who works directly with service members and their families.
She holds a Masters of Arts in Rehabilitative Counseling from the University of Maryland, College Park and obtained licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LGADC) in the state of Maryland. Dr. Walker spent the last six years working with various hospitals, clinics, and schools conducting research on children with ADHD, their family and various sleep variables and environmental factors of influence. She does not represent the government, the DoD, or the US Army in any shape or form in this role. Her opinions, views, and literary works are independent and managed separately.
