Chess Club

Come join us for an inclusive ALL AGES AND ABILITES CHESS CLUB! This club is an opportunity to come together, enjoy the game of chess, and socialize.

We will have a few other select board games available for those that would like to play (connect four, cribbage, mancala, card games).

ALL AGES AND ABILITES are welcome. Parents are required to stay with any children under the age of 18.

No RSVP required; just come out and enjoy!

**Please note that each person is responsible for following current CDC and Government recommended COVID-19 guidelines.

This Chess Club will meet on the 1st Sunday of the month.

Dating While Neurodiverse for Adults 18+

September 8, 2021 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Building friendships and sharing special moments with a bestie is amazing...but what happens when we want something more? How do we go about doing this? How do we even know what we want? How do we go about this safely?

Join us for an 8-week class for neurodiverse adults ages 18+ where we talk about it all! We'll cover everything from the social nuances of dating and navigating relationships to sexual education, consent, and appropriate ways to communicate. This will be a judgment-free zone where neurodiverse individuals can share their anxieties and fears while asking the questions some have been too embarrassed to ask.

Class will be held at Barrier-Free's Life Skills & Social Studio - 7520 Main St #103 Sykesville, MD 21784. Class tuition is $80. We offer a two-class trial period, details at the link!

The suggested donation to attend is $5.

Barrier-Free studio members will be serving light refreshments and handmade treats.
