Mindy Cavendish, MS, CCC-SLP. will present "Pediatric Feeding Disorders in Autism" on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. EST as part of the CARD Fall Training Series. This webinar will define pediatric feeding disorders (PFDs) and provide useful feeding strategies to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in food exploration. Attendees will learn about the symptoms, impacted areas, and presentation of PFDs in autistic children. The speaker will provide practical strategies to add social, positive responsiveness and increase autistic children's confidence during mealtimes.

By the end of the training, attendees will be able to:

1. Define pediatric feeding disorders (PFDs) and the four impacted domains
2. Know the common symptoms of PFDs seen with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
3. Understand responsive feeding strategies and the various available feeding intervention methodologies
