February 28, 2020 –
What are Sibshops? Sibshops are a fun-filled workshop for brothers and sisters of children with a special health or developmental need. Sibshops provide peer support in a fun recreational setting for those ages 8-13 years old.
Why? Research shows that siblings share all of the same concerns as care-takers of children with a health or developmental need. Sibshops provide a safe space for siblings who “get it” to connect.
