The Special Education Resource Center will offer a 90-minute webinar open to all BCPS parents and employees. This seminar aims to teach skills and strategies to enable children, teens and their parents to improve self-regulation of emotions, experience and express their emotions, control impulses, become more responsible for their behavior (and feel better). Webinar presented by Tana Hope, Ph.D. The Child and Family Therapy Clinic Department of Behavioral Psychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
All parent trainings are free and brought to you by the Baltimore County Public Schools Special Education Resource Center!

MCAP 2021 Human Services Conference - “Oceans for Opportunties”October 12-14, 2021 N/A
The MCAP Annual Human Services Conference will be held October 12-14 at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront in Ocean City, Maryland. This year’s conference theme; “Oceans for Opportunties” will highlight strategies to improve human service delivery to equip low-income individuals and families with the tools and social support to strengthen their relationships, establish stability and plan for the future together. Human Service professionals and Community Action Agencies throughout Maryland, DC and Delaware come together during this conference to further the mission of helping people and changing lives.
The Community Action Network serves every county in Maryland, DC and Delaware. Services range from Head Start, nutrition, affordable housing, weatherization, senior care, homeless prevention and more. This gathering presents a great opportunity for vendors with products and services that can benefit agencies serving low-income individuals and families. In addition, other service providers offering an array of services will also be in attendance.
