Together Apart - Parents & Caregivers of Children Newly Diagnosed
You are not alone!
Join us Tuesdays at 6:30pm for some targeted support and an opportunity to ask questions and gain information, and meet other parents new to the autism community.
At 7:00pm you can leave and join the general meeting or stick around and continue the conversation.
On the next First Tuesday (12/1) Dr. Kay Holman will join the newly diagnosed group!

HOLIDAY STRESS DURING THE PANDEMIC
Melody McCune, ACPS School Psychologist, will give tips on how to manage in this very different year. The holidays bring so much joy, but also a lot of stress. There are so many things to figure out this year; from explaining to your child how visiting with Santa won’t happen, to deciding how to safely have family gatherings, to trying to keep fun traditions, and even to managing money.

Support Group of the Autism Society of Baltimore-Chesapeake
Support group open to all adults. Meeting begins with general announcements about upcoming activities, followed by individual introductions and the invitation to share one "golden moment" you've experienced during the previous month. Following that, there will be time for questions and follow-up discussion as well as further opportunity for group support and socialization. Some meetings will have speakers on topics of interest to the autism community in the Baltimore area.
Light refreshments and handouts available along with access to our lending library.
Please be aware that support group meetings are for adults as some topics discussed may not be suitable for children, and child care is not provided.
