An interactive story time that welcomes children of all abilities to create an inclusive environment, but is especially designed for children ages 2 to 11 with autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration issues, developmental delays or any special needs. We combine stories, songs, movement and sensory play to stimulate your child's senses and promote learning. Please talk with the presenter prior to the program if you have any questions regarding your child's needs.
These classes are a wonderful way to help reduce anxiety and challenging tactile sensitivity issues. Parents and siblings are encouraged to participate as well. No need to register, just mark your calendar and join HCAS at the Yoga Center. Please arrive 10-15 prior to the beginning of class to allow time to sign in and get settled. In this whimsical musical adventure, Anatole and his best friend Gaston set out to save the Duval cheese factory, only to discover something much scarier than moldy Brie lurking in the tasting room. Can Anatole outsmart the hungry predator and save the factory? Join Anatole, Gaston, and a chorus of dancing cheeses to find out!
An inclusive story time for families with children who have sensory integration challenges. Sibling participation encouraged. There is time to mingle after each session. All children must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Space is limited. Registration required.

This performance is designed to accomodate people with special needs. The show is sensory friendly and includes a calming center, volunteers and a social story.
Connelly School of the Holy Child invites you to their sensory-friendly performance of Mamma Mia on February 23 @ 11:00 am! No tickets required and totally free. Kids are encouraged to get up and walk around, dance, and be themselves. There will also be a quiet room if anyone needs a break.
Running time is only one hour, so it's also good for little ones who might not be able to sit through a longer show.

A FREE event for HCAS members that features one hour in the gym with activities led by The Children’s Spot and one hour in the pool! Non-members may join online at www.howard-autism.org or on-site the evening of the event.
