Teen & Young Adults Traveling Social Club Ages 14-24Our World Explorers is an Individual Support Service of the One World Center for Autism, Inc., which offers a monthly social outlet with community integration for teens and young adults with autism and related special needs. Sunday Fun for Kids with Sensory NeedsBefore branch hours, a special event for kids with sensory needs or other differing abilities with their parents, caregivers and families. Play video games, enjoy extra computer time, create themed crafts, enjoy a sensory story time, explore the Sensory Exploration Zone, hang out with your friends and meet new friends, and more! Doors open for this program at 12 p.m. and the branch opens at 1 p.m., but the fun continues for kids with sensory needs until 1:30 p.m.! For more information, call 410-887-5195.

Sensory Processing and ASDVirginia Spielmann, MSOT is the Executive Director of STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder in Greenwood Village Colorado. STAR is a global leader in education, treatment and research for sensory processing through the lifespan. She is a DIR/Floortime Training Leader and Expert and clinical consultant for the Interdisciplinary Council for Development and Learning (ICDL). Her extensive pediatric experience includes children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with Sensory Processing Disorder, infant mental health issues, children from adopted families and those who have experienced developmental trauma.
