Kinera's Trunk or Treat begins at 2pm and will kick off with a Sensory-friendly Trick or Treat experience for children with special needs and their families. Trick or treaters can explore the craft and games station, trick or treat at the vendors tables, all decorated for Halloween, vote for their favorite vendor display, and enjoy snacks, drinks, music and family fun.
At 3pm we open to the general public and offer a great prelude to Halloween Night, or a replacement for door-to-door trick or treating.
This is a FREE family event, but registration is recommended.

Our World Explorers is an Individual Support Service of the One World Center for Autism, Inc., which offers a monthly social outlet with community integration for teens and young adults with autism and related special needs. Caregivers can relax and restore with the security of knowing their teen or young adult with special needs is in a safe and empowering environment.

The cost for this program is $50.00 per participant. This cost includes transportation cost, lunch/refreshments, and arts and crafts supplies. Field trip venue cost will impact price and may increase

Virginia Spielmann, MSOT is the Executive Director of STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder in Greenwood Village Colorado. STAR is a global leader in education, treatment and research for sensory processing through the lifespan. She is a DIR/Floortime Training Leader and Expert and clinical consultant for the Interdisciplinary Council for Development and Learning (ICDL). Her extensive pediatric experience includes children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with Sensory Processing Disorder, infant mental health issues, children from adopted families and those who have experienced developmental trauma.
