Hi I’m Chef Don, aka Chef Emerson, Coach, Sergeant, Dad, Pops and just Chef. I have been cooking for over 40 years! My first job was Gino’s in Glen Burnie, then Pappy’s where I started learning real skills prepping food. I learned how to barbecue at Johnny Boy’s in La Plata Md. I went in the Army (Infantry) and was stationed in Georgia, Washington State, and Germany. Once out I started cooking and discovered a passion for creating interesting foods. I worked in lots of great restaurants including Solomons Pier, Northridge and Cedar Cove Marina (that’s my favorite, awesome view and I met my wife there). I have been the Chef at The Harbour School for 19 years! Besides cooking I love music (Zeppelin rules) and hiking. So, let’s cook together!!
A Zoom link will be sent to you the day before each class for which you registered.
