Glenmont Outdoor Pool – SWIM SAFETY EVENT
Our swim event at the Glenmont Outdoor Pool has been cancelled due to the threat of inclement weather.
Thank you for your understanding.
Whether your child swims like a fish or has never stepped foot in the pool, this event offers something for everyone in the family.
Swim instructors will be on hand to offer guidance on water safety and swimming. Pathfinders for Autism will have safety resources available.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Limit (6) passes per family.

4pm – 5pm Special Needs Hour: Pathfinders for Autism will be hosting a free play swim.
Participants will be able to use the pool and water park activities during this time.
Swim diapers covered by plastic swim pants are allowed at this Glenmont Outdoor Pool. Swim buddies will be available for individuals seeking assistance in the water.
5pm: Pathfinders for Autism will be hosting a Pizza Party (pizza and refreshments) for all Swim Safety participants
5pm – 7pm: Structured Lessons hosted by Montgomery County Parks and Recreation.
*At 5:00pm, ALL water park activities will end, and Montgomery County Parks and Recreation will offer Swim Instruction, Diving Instructions and Scuba Instructions.
*There will be signup sheets at the event and wait times for each instructional activity.

FREE to attend, however, you MUST register. All registrations will be placed in a lottery. You will be notified by email if your family has been awarded passes. Limit (6) passes per family.
Our registration process is as follows:
- Register online at www.pathfindersforautism.org to be entered in the lottery for a chance to win passes.
- If selected, please RSVP! Confirm your attendance or release your passes to a family on the wait list.
