Our students in the Model Asperger Program have average to gifted cognitive abilities but struggle in mainstream learning environments due to difficulties with social skills, executive functioning, flexible thinking and self-regulation. The program serves students from Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia. They have diagnosis that include: PDD/NOS, High Functioning Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Non-Verbal Learning Disability, Executive Dysfunction. In addition they may have additional challenges, including ADHD, anxiety or mood disorders, or Tourettes Syndrome. Private pay accepted.
