Maryland Disability Law Center (MDLC) wants to help students who are leaving school and entering DDA funded programs by ensuring the Assistive Technology (AT) included in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) is also included in the Individual Plan (IP). Keep the AT you have now.MDLC also wants to help students who do not currently have assistive technology receive an assessment and any devices or services that are needed. Individuals who receive services from the Developmental Disabilities Administration participate in developing an IP that details needed services and supports, including Assistive Technology.
