For more than 10 years, NHS Human Services has provided quality behavioral health services to children and families who are affected by Pervasive Developmental Disorders, specifically Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (NOS), and Asperger Syndrome. In collaboration with families, professionals and other key stakeholders, NHS continues to develop unique autism services which can provide alternatives to traditional programming within a continuum of care. This coordinated and integrative approach is designed to meet the needs and behaviors associated with ASD from diagnosis to adulthood. Services are currently provided to approximately 2800 consumers with an ASD and their families.NHS currently provides the following services: •Licensed Private Academic Schools and classrooms •BHRS •Stepping Stones •Parent/Sibling Support Groups' •Family Based •Specialized Outpatient •Adult Autism Services •Respite •Consultation and Training
