Pilcrow Advisors provides expert placement guidance tailored to a client’s specific academic, social, emotional, behavioral and psychiatric needs.  Our expertise include placements for clients between the ages of 8-35 who have not found success in local treatment and school settings and are in need of solutions outside of the traditional options with which they are familiar.  Pilcrow Advisors works with clients with the following presenting challenges: Mood Disorders, Academic Underachievement, School Refusal, Lack of Motivation, OCD, ODD, Disordered Eating, Poor Self-Esteem, Learning / Attention Difficulties, Addictions such as Substance, Pornography, Computer & Gaming, Personality Disorders, Poor Social Skills, Trauma, Abuse, Adoption/ Attachment Issues, Poor Decision Making, Divorce & Family Conflict, Underdeveloped Life Skills, Sexual & Gender Identity Issues, Sexual Promiscuity, Self-Harm & Autism Spectrum Disorder. Pilcrow Advisors uses an evaluation process to assess and identify the most appropriate next step.  We carefully consider all placement options and may recommend one or more of the following: Wilderness Programs, Residential Treatment, Local Programs & Professionals, Boarding Schools, Young Adult Options & Assessment & Stabilization Programs. Identifying the right placement is only the beginning of the services Pilcrow Advisors offer.  Jamie assists with the admission, enrollment and transportation process. Once a client is placed, Jamie remains involved to provide: continual collaboration and communication with professionals and families throughout the client’s placement as well as transitional support following treatment.
