FUNDING FOCUS: ENERGY ASSISTANCE - EASTERN SHORE ONLY
The Choptank Electric Trust is a charitable programfunded by Operation Round Up contributions frommembers of the cooperative. Grants are designed toprovide financial assistance for community;educational and charitable purposes within the ninecounties of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Choptankco-op members participate by “rounding up” theirelectric bills each month to the nearest dollar. The Trust board meets monthly throughout the year to review applications and distribute funds for charitable needs.
