Sheppard Pratt School at Severn River Middle School

Sheppard Pratt School at Severn River Middle School is a 10-month special education program, located in Severn River Middle School, in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, that provides educational services to students ages 11 to 15 with autism spectrum disorder and emotional disabilities. Our program is designed to meet a child or adolescent’s special education needs while providing maximum opportunity to integrate him or her into Severn River Middle School’s educational program. Once enrolled, our experienced staff will review the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) and modify our instructional areas to fit the student’s needs to ensure maximum growth. Our students spend as much or as little time in the  program as necessary to meet their special education needs, spending the rest of their time in the public school program.
