Linwood School provides academic, vocational, and the option of day and/or residential services to students with autism and related developmental disabilities. Students are taught through a multidisciplinary approach in a therapeutic environment. Most require small class sizes with support from para-educators and student assistants at an intensity level individualized for the student. Instructional strategies include a variety of methods customized to meet the individualized needs of each student. These methods include Applied Behavioral Analysis, Verbal Behavior, Picture Exchange Communication, assistive technology sensory integration, and visually aided and computer aided instruction.
