In her clinical work, Dr. Reid has utilized empirically-supported treatments (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)) to assist over 800 patients across the lifespan to date. While Dr. Reid has experience working with a wide array of mental health concerns, she specializes in 1) the assessment and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (with or without a Tourettic or PANS/PANDAS component), anxiety disorders, tic disorders, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) – and 2) the assessment and management of struggles relating to a) neurodivergence (namely attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism (autism spectrum disorder/ASD)) and/or b) pathological personality traits. As a practitioner, Dr. Reid is committed to providing neurodivergent-affirming care through an intersectional cultural humility framework. She is able to offer both in-person appointments (in Rockville, MD) and virtual appointments (to individuals located in PSYPACT-participating locations: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap). Of note: Services are considered out-of-network. Individuals are advised to discuss potential reimbursements with their insurance carrier ahead of time. Superbills are happily provided.
