I am an AOTA Board Certified Pediatric Occupational Therapist specializing in Sensory Processing Disorders and Sensory Integration Dysfunction. I am certified in Sensory Integration evaluation. Our office provides Occupational Therapy evaluation; treatment; consultation; school consultation; and home programs. Our Occupational Therapy treatment focuses on each individual's needs and may include activities to address sensory issues; sensory integration; postural control; balance; muscle tone; motor planning; gross motor skills; eye hand coordination; fine motor skills; handwriting; and daily living skills. We also focus on Visually Enhanced Therapy; The Alert Program for Self Regulation (How Does Your Engine Run); and sensory diets. I am also certified in Advanced Therapeutic Listening and Interactive Metronome. We work closely; when indicated; with Dr. Stan Appelbaum and Dr. Bryce Appelbaum; Developmental Optometrists in the office.
