The Foundation School of Montgomery County- Gaithersburg; MD

The mission of The Foundation Schools is to provide a highly specialized educational and therapeutic program for children and adolescents in grades 1-12 with emotional disabilities and prepare them to be productive and successful in their future academic and career paths. All of our teachers are certified in special education and in their content area. The Foundation Schools accepts referrals from local school systems; educational advocates; attorneys; parents; guardians; and mental health agencies. Our focus is improving outcomes for all students by providing an integrated approach addressing each student’s unique academic; behavioral and social/emotional needs in a safe and supportive learning environment. We are approved by the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia and adhere to State and District standards and assessments.
