Lower Shore Autism Community

The Lower Shore Autism Community (LSAC) planning group includes two mental health professionals, a nonprofit executive, a university professor and two parents of individuals on the Spectrum. The group has been meeting regularly for several months to help build an organization that will advocate for families with members on the spectrum, help provide support and mutual assistance and connect families with resources and information. There are fewer resources here on the Lower Shore but the needs of families for information, support, clinical and social care, transportation and other needs are just as urgent.
