The Inpatient Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Unit provides psychiatric evaluation; stabilization; and treatment of patients ages 10-18 with developmental disabilities or significant neurological impairments. Led by child psychiatrist Desmond Kaplan; M.D. and a specially trained multi-disciplinary staff; the Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Unit provides intensified staff to patient ratio; individualized behavioral plans; intermediate duration lengths of stay; and a variety of support treatments including caregiver training.
