Developmental assessments; health and dental screening and follow-up services; nutrition assessments; and mental health services are provided to promote early intervention. Head Start works with parents as partners in each child’s unique developmental process.Head Start welcomes parent involvement in their child’s education and encourages parents to participate in an array of services offered to help them achieve self-reliance.
