Kelley D. Shaw; M.S.; CCC-SLP Kelley has been practicing in the field of speech pathology for 13 years in a variety of clinical settings. After graduating from Towson University in 1999; she completed her Clinical Fellowship in the Anne Arundel County Infants and Toddlers Program. With the itch to pursue training in research and autism; Kelley then moved on to work under Dr. Rebecca Landa at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism and Related Disorders. She worked at KKI with CARD; PACT and CFSP programs for over 8 years; in home; clinical; and child care settings. Kelley furthered her professional development by completing a Master’s Level Certificate in Education of Students with Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders in May of 2005. In August of 2006; Kelley developed and led the Early Starts Inclusive Child Care Program; an early intervention preschool model for very young children suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorders. Following the birth of her second of two boys; Kelley made the difficult decision to leave KKI and pursue her own private practice. She has extensive training in working with young children with autism spectrum disorders; suspected apraxia of speech; sensory issues; and other developmental issues.
