The Benedictine School is a coed day and residential school for individuals ages 5-21 with intellectual disabilites; multiple disabilities; and/or autism with a current capacity of 78 residential and 14 day students. We are certified by MSDE and DHR. Our comprehensive and well integrated educational and residential program is supplemented by special services which include psychological; pscyhiatric; social work; counseling; vocational/transition; speech/language; assistive technology; library/media/art; computer training; adaptive phys. ed.; aquatics; home life skills; 24 hr. nursing; and leisure ed. training. All services are provided within a therapeutic environment and employ consistency during all waking hours. The Benedictine School addresses the needs of the "whole person" and is oriented towards maximum independence vocationally; in community living and towards the development of a contributing member of society.
