The Children’s Guild is a Maryland nonprofit; child-serving organization dedicated to serving children and adolescents with autism spectrum conditions; severe trauma disorders and other emotional; mental and behavioral disabilities. Founded in 1953; The Children's Guild has become one of the largest providers of special education; group living; treatment foster care and family mental health services in Maryland. The Children's Guild's educational programs are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education; and its child-caring programs and mental health center are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
