Since 2001; Rose of Sharon Equestrian School has been enhancing the lives of children with disabilities by providing opportunities for them to interact with horses in a safe; supportive; and authentic environment.Overcoming challenges while developing the knowledge and skills required to be successful when working with horses produces remarkably positive changes in physical; mental; and social/emotional health. These positive changes have a direct; beneficial impact on the quality of our student’s lives.Approximately 70% of our students are on the autism spectrum.
