My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, compassionate, and affirming space for individuals who are looking to create change or find a sense of peace in their lives. My hope is that you will learn new ways to cope with the stressors in your life. Clients have expressed appreciation for my warm, non-judgmental and direct approach.
I have a particular interest in working with members of LGBTQIA+ communities, with Autistic adults, and with partners and family members of Autistic adults. Autistic individuals across the spectrum have the right to self-determination and access to supportive tools and services. I align myself with the Autistic self-advocacy and acceptance movements.
I am telehealth only, and have daytime availability. I do accept CareFirst/BCBS, Johns Hopkins EHP, and USFHP insurance, otherwise I am a fee-for-service provider. If you would like to gain reimbursement from your insurance company, I recommend you contact your insurer prior to scheduling with me. Ask if you have out-of-network benefits, what the reimbursement rate is, and what the process is for submitting claims.
