Snowflakes ABA, LLC is independently owned and operated by Christy Evanko, BCBA, LBA and Dr. Dannene Drummond, DMA, BCBA. Dannene Drummond was introduced to the field of behavior analysis when her son was diagnosed with autism. She worked on his ABA program with him starting in 2006. Wanting to help her son better and help other families in the same situation, she completed her coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at The University of North Texas and subsequently finished her certification in behavior analysis (BCBA). She is a member of the Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis (MABA) and the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). Prior to getting into the field of behavior analysis, Dannene received a Doctorate in Music and received degrees from Eastman School of Music, Michigan State and Florida State. Christy Evanko learned about behavior analysis from Dannene, and when her son was diagnosed with Autism, he was enrolled in an ABA program. This service did wonders for her son, and Christy became passionate about the science of ABA. Christy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst(R) with a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dannene and Christy met in high school and have been friends since the 10th grade and started Snowflakes ABA together in 2012. Dannene suggested the name Snowflakes because as every snowflake is unique, so is every child.
