Special Considerations was created specifically to serve individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.  We provide burial insurance to all individuals to help with the funding of final expenses.  Because we specialize in helping individuals set aside funds in burial insurance, we understand the importance of protecting government benefits and providing excellent service especially when you need us most.  Your loved one can have a dignified end of life without compromising government benefits.

• Guaranteed Issue - ALL individuals with special needs are accepted regardless of their age or disability
• Protection - ALL policies are set up with an irrevocable assignment; Medicaid and SSI do not consider it as an asset
• Flexibility (depending on your state) - Single Pay/Lump Sum or Monthly Pay
• Portability - The policy follows the individual and can be used at ANY funeral home or cremation provider

• Maintains a lending library of articles, newsletters, books, and DVDs on a wide range of special education topics such as special education law, types of disabilities, support groups and recreational opportunities.
• Seeks ways to encourage and strengthen communication between parents and school personnel
• Teams with educators to teach free workshops
• Makes community presentations to both parent groups and school staff
• Represents special education issues and concerns of parents and students with special needs
• Directs parents to available community resources
• Establishes a family-to-family support network
• Offers support to parents who need someone to talk to on an individual basis in a confidential, supportive atmosphere
• Coordinates the PTA Special Education Liaison Project
