Vista provides services to children and adults living with autism in Central Pennsylvania. By using research-based techniques, we improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families. Our ultimate goal is to provide people with the tools they need to live their everyday lives and become integrated in the community. Vista offers state-of-the-art services to individuals with autism. From Early Intervention for pre-school aged children to Employment Services for adults, our goal is to provide the tools and resources needed for every person with autism to reach their full potential and live as independently as possible.

What is Vista Early Intervention?

Vista’s Early Intervention Program is a state-of-the-art Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for young children with autism. The program engages a child in a playful context to improve a range of pro-social behaviors, build meaningful connections between the child and caregivers, and decrease undesirable behaviors.

How Does Early Intervention Operate?

Research suggests that treatment is most effective with a 1:1 therapist to child ratio with sessions filling 20 to 35 hours per week. Our facilities operate year round, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

What Techniques Are Used?

Vista Early Intervention therapy takes place in a play-based setting where appropriate language and social skills are cued and rewarded.

What Does Vista Provide to Parents?

Our commitment to parents is to provide effective behavior intervention, parent training opportunities, real-time access to web-based charts of your child’s progress, as well as collaboration with other service providers.

The Vista School^® uses the principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Precision Teaching (PT), and Direct Instruction (DI) to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate education and therapy for our students. The goal of these techniques is to prepare children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to function in the community with increasing independence.
