Adults with autism and other disabilities will have more options and not be limited to what the traditional community pathways provide. The sky's the limit as to what their days and activities will be like. For example, Louis Jr, Joyce's son, is an artist at the Make-Studio program. He makes and sells his art at the studio, online and at gallery showings. He makes presentations in the communities and is very well connected to his peers. In addition, Louis Jr. is developing his own photo restoration business from home and has some well-satisfied clients. His budget allows him to hire a support person to come to his home and help with his business, daily personal supports such as housekeeping, budgeting, shopping, as well as reimburse him for his transportation expenses.
