People with developmental disabilities have the right to make choices about their lives and the help they get. The Maryland Department of Health's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) works together with children and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities to get support and resources so that they can have good lives.
The DDA is the main Maryland state agency that pays for services in communities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
