Dr. Facciolo is a proud local of Wilmington, DE and is one of four brothers who are various healthcare providers within our state. He grew up in Wilmington and graduated from Salesianum School and later attended the University of Delaware, to obtain a degree of Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences.
Dr. Facciolo obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2013, where he earned the highest honor, Summa Cum Laude.
During dental school, Dr. Facciolo excelled and was inducted into the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, also while receiving clinical awards in pediatric dentistry and academic honors.
After dental school, Dr. Facciolo completed a hospital-based residency program in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry at Christiana Care Hospital. Cherishing this opportunity, he gained profound knowledge in hospital dentistry and completed rotations in emergency medicine and anesthesia departments.
After residency, Dr. Facciolo furthered his studies in Boston MA by completing specialty training in Orthodontics. After completion of the program, he received his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, along with a master's degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences from Boston University.
In his free time, Dr. Facciolo enjoys spending time with his family and taking trips with his wife, Ashley. On his down time, he enjoys learning and staying current with literature and new treatment techniques through various continuing education. He also enjoys exercising, playing soccer, traveling to new places and is always open for ideas when planning a new adventure!
