Starobin Counseling, LLC

Starobin Counseling, LLC offers Parents Together, a parent support group program.   This program gives parents of autistic children and adolescents and parents of autistic young adults opportunities to enhance coping skills and gain insight and understanding of the emotional impact of ASD on the family system. It also offers parents time and tools to develop supportive relationships, share resources, and aims to strengthen the capacity of families to navigate the emotional and practical challenges of raising children and launching adolescents and young adults on the spectrum. The group has been going since Summer 2017, has both moms and dads participating, and offers a regular, real-time connection for families! Starobin Counseling, LLC also offers individual, couples, and family counseling.  In individual, couples, & family counseling for people with autism individuals learn relationship skills and tools for thinking with greater flexibility, and family members learn ways to interact with greater ease and compassion. I also trained at the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family in Washington, D.C. and I'm earning certification in Relational Life Therapy.
