Baltimore Area Special Hockey; Inc. offers an ice hockey program for both children and adults with a brain injury or developmental disability such as Autism and Down Syndrome. The program provides participants the opportunity to play ice hockey in an environment adapted to each of their ability. Special Hockey is not only recreational but therapeutic. It emphasizes social interaction; self reliance; concentration and willingness to adapt to new experiences with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
