The Kent County Public Schools maintains an active Child Find Program for all children age birth to twenty-one residing in the county, including students with disabilities attending nonpublic, private or religious schools, and highly mobile students. Referrals to the Child Find Program for students age 3-21 who are suspected of having a disability and in need of special education services can be made through the local principal or Supervisor of Special Education by a parent, community agency, teacher or private school employee.
