Maiden Choice School is a public separate day school that provides programs for children from age 3 to 21 who have significant cognitive disabilities. Our educational programs are designed for students who require a comprehensive special education setting for the entire school day. Instructional areas include academics, personal management, career/vocational training, recreation/leisure, communication and social skills. Instruction for each student is tailored to meet his/her individual needs. Our school places an emphasis on using research-based techniques that have proven to be successful for students with autism, developmental disorders, and multiple disabilities. Programs implemented throughout the school included MOVE, ABA and TEACCH based strategies.
