Camp Lakey Gap

Christmount Assembly is excited to announce a residential camp for individuals on the autism spectrum. Christmount has housed a similar program for the past 12 years; and we have now created Camp Lakey Gap in order to continue to provide the same services for individuals on the autism spectrum. Our campers will experience a week of typical camp activities; such as swimming; arts and crafts; hiking; group games; and canoeing in a structured environment. Campers are supervised closely at all times; with either a one to one or one to two ratio for each camper. The weeks are broken down by age; with each week beginning on Sunday afternoon and ending Friday afternoon after our Camper Talent Show. The camp is open to anyone on the autism spectrum ages 4-17; who either lives in an 8 hour driving radius of Black Mountain; NC or has an emergency contact person in that area.
