The Civil Law Center is offered the first two Tuesday mornings of each month from 9:00am – 12:00pm - appointment recommended. However, walk-ins will be seen that day, as time permits.
When you arrive at the Circuit Courthouse, please check in at the Law Library & Legal Resource Center, located on the first floor.
A local, volunteer attorney will provide free legal assistance in a civil, non-domestic matter. Some areas of the law that are considered civil include landlord/tenant, contract, small claims, expungement of record, agency appeal and homeowner/association matters.
Visitors must be self-represented and have low to moderate income to qualify for service
