Pressley Ridge, a non-profit organization founded in 1832, provides an array of services to keep children and families together so that youths with challenging behaviors can remain in their homes; schools and communities. Pressley Ridge offers four types of services: Treatment Foster Care creates a sense of belonging for children and provide the stability they need so they can begin to learn and thrive in a family centered home. Our foster care programs provide a continuum of services from all levels of foster care through adoption. Residential Treatment Services offer a range of services for children and youths with mental health and/or delinquency issues. The goal is to help these troubled children and their families learn the skills that will enable them to return home to their communities successfully. Community-Based Services strive to keep families together so that children and youth can remain at home and in their schools and communities. The primary purpose is to reduce the need for out-of-home placements. Educational Services are designed to infuse the process of learning and achievement with joy so that our students become “life-long learners;” and to provide an appropriate setting to allow students to successfully adjust with their everyday environment; to help with their return to the public school setting.
