Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Care

Dr. Robert D. Camps has been a pediatric dentist for over 40 years. After graduating Howard University (HU), Dr. Camps went on to specialize in pediatric dentistry; extending his time solely focused on academia for an additional two years. Later, he held a position as an assistant professor at HU’s College of Dentistry, he taught Interceptive and Early Orthodontic Treatment to pediatric postgraduates.
 
Dr. Camps is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. To gain membership he was required to complete extensive training specifically focused on serving special needs patients.
 
In previous years, Dr. Camps held a position as a national consultant for an alliance of pediatric dental practices called Orthodontic Center of America; in addition, he was the Department of Dentistry’s Majority Chairman at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, located in the heart of Rockville, Maryland.
 
As the owner, of Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center, he dedicated to the excellence of his organization. He believes his team includes the most talented and experienced dentists, who are trained and determined to live by his established core value: caring for each patient and parent as if they were their family members! These codes of ethics are reinforced by Dr. Camps’ wife, and taught to his two sons (Ethan and Jonathan) and his five grandchildren (Emma, Natalie, Ethan, Nathan, and Julia).Dr. Camps Pediatric Dental Center’s goal is educating our patients on the importance of their dental health.
