Jill has served on the Board of Directors of the First Maryland Disability Trust and the Planned Giving Advisory Council for the Kennedy Krieger Institute.She is the Baltimore County Coordinator for the Maryland State Bar Association’s annual Law Day. She is a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, the Estates and Trusts and Elder Law Sections of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Estates and Trusts Committee of the Baltimore County Bar Association, and the Planned Giving Roundtable. She participates in the Estate and Gift Tax Study Group of the Maryland State Bar Association and volunteer for the Baltimore County Bar Association’s 60+ Program.She has lectured on estate planning, probate, and trust administration to diverse audiences, appeared on television, radio, and podcasts, and been published in print and on-line media sources. She is an author and presenter for the National Business Institute and hs served as an expert trial witness in estate-related litigation. She is a parent ambassador at the McDonogh School and sit on the Board of Directors of the Associated Jewish Charities.
Prior to opening her own practice, she worked as a senior attorney in the Division of Enforcement of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995, and is admitted to practice in Maryland. Jill received her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University in 1992.
