Our services are offered in home, community, private, charter and specialized schools (ABA, co op, home school, etc. ). Our most popular and sought after non- traditional therapy service is when we include an equine partner into the treatment session. We currently offer services at 3 different equine facilities across central Maryland . "Hippotherapy" is a therapeutic intervention strategy that uses the specific movement of the horse to meet therapy goals. We work with pre-academic/academic, cognitive, physical, sensory and non-aggressive behavior challenges. Language based services will be offered as soon as we fill our speech language pathologist vacancy.
Our parent's love that their child does not fight to go to "therapy" and that they do not necessarily know they are getting "therapy" and the kids love it because it is fun and engaging and they don't realize how hard they are working. Plus, who doesn't love to engage with an animal as magnificent as a horse? Our session can include mounted or unmounted activities depending on the specific needs of the client.
