Head Start works with parents as partners in each child’s unique developmental process.Head Start welcomes parent involvement in their child’s education and encourages parents to participate in an array of services offered to help them achieve self-reliance. Parents are provided opportunities to participate in decision-making; enhance their own parenting skills; participate in educational activities; and engage in a family partnership process to develop personal goals and access community resources. - See more at: http://www.catholiccharities-md.org/children-and-families/head-start/carroll-county/what-is-head-start.html#sthash.INIKCi22.dpuf
