OT Intervention in the Outpatient OfficeWe focus on the individual needs of the child; including but not limited to: visual motor control and integration (that functionally impacts handwriting; self-care; play and school tasks); visual perception and processing; self-care skills; bilateral coordination; sensory processing; gross and fine motor control; developmental milestones; play and leisure skills; motor planning; consultation for home based programs.OT EvaluationWe ensure children are successful in the everyday activities that occupy their time and believe it is through this success they live a happy life. A thorough parent interview; child history and rapport building sessions with the child are the major parts of our evaluation process. We offer comprehensive assessments and functional summaries using standardized and non-standardized measures based on the needs of the child and family. Consultation to SchoolsWe consult with schools; classroom teachers; educational teams and parents in order to provide suggestions and strategies for children who have needs in the school setting. Group TreatmentOT for Kids offers group treatment for a variety of different needs. Most commonly we offer groups for social skill development; handwriting; and sensory motor needs.
